Role: Director of Internship Programs

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Chief Nursing Executive, the Director of Internship Programs is responsible for providing strategic leadership to enhance the quality of person-centered care and clinical practices. This role is essential in fostering quality care and practice at individual, team, and organizational levels.

In collaboration with senior leadership, managers, staff, and external partners, the Director will oversee and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards, while effectively managing physical, human, and financial resources.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior leaders, other directors, managers, and physicians to drive excellence in internship programs through active partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.
2. Work closely with managers to identify training needs, practice gaps, and coaching requirements for program teams.
3. Lead initiatives to create and sustain practice environments that promote a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement, engaging staff, patients, and families in the process.

Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with progressive leadership experience in clinical services.
- An Undergraduate Degree combined with substantial experience may also be considered.
- Current registration with a relevant regulatory body is required.
- Proven experience in a management role within a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Meditech, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple ongoing tasks.

This position requires on-site presence and may involve travel within the region for community partnerships. Participation in the administrative on-call schedule is necessary, along with the potential for evening and weekend work. Compliance with mandatory training timelines is expected.
