Job Title: Site Quality Assurance Specialist

The Site Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring superior quality of our equipment's installation by following installation manuals, standards, and rigorous processes. This role is a mix of working in the site office documenting the work and working directly on the site to ensure work is performed as expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain the Andritz Quality Assurance System on site.
  • Ensure quality requirements are followed at site according to Installation Manuals.
  • Local contact with customer and authorities for all quality matters.
  • Inspections follow-up according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
  • Reception of material at site with inventory database and tracking system.
  • Perform and/or witness inspections in coordination with customer and site team.
  • Initiate and follow-up on non-conformities.
  • Collect quality records and elaborate final quality documentation.
  • Collaborate with Installation Supervisors to ensure work is performed in compliance with Installation Manuals requirements.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience.
  • Passion for Quality and integrity.
  • General knowledge on mechanical measurement devices.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment, an asset.
  • On site Safety training an asset.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-driven, resourceful, rigorous.
  • Ability to analyze data.
  • Willingness to travel and flexible with work schedule.
