From water to wire – Be part of the movement
The Field Quality Assurance Coordinator is assigned to one of our project sites in Canada. This role is essential in ensuring the superior quality of our equipment installations by adhering to installation manuals, industry standards, and stringent processes. The individual will collaborate with a team comprising a Site Manager, Supervisors, administrators, Quality Assurance specialists, and Health-Safety-Environment officers. The team size and project duration will vary based on the scope of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold the ANDRITZ Quality Assurance System on-site;
- Ensure adherence to quality requirements according to Installation Manuals;
- Act as the local liaison with clients and authorities regarding all quality-related matters;
- Conduct inspections as per Inspection & Test Plans (ITP);
- Manage the reception of materials on-site using an inventory database and tracking system;
- Perform and/or oversee inspections in collaboration with clients and the site team;
- Initiate and monitor non-conformities;
- Gather quality records and prepare final quality documentation;
- Work alongside Installation Supervisors to ensure compliance with Installation Manuals;
- Contribute to the overall quality and excellence in executing Engineered Machinery projects.

Qualifications:
- Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Five (5) years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong commitment to quality and integrity;
- General knowledge of mechanical measurement devices;
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an asset;
- Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment is advantageous;
- On-site safety training is a plus;
- Effective communication skills (both oral and written);
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented;
- Ability to analyze data;
- Willingness to travel and flexibility with work schedules.
