Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Material Management Specialist to join our team at ADGA Group Consultants Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of equipment, from procurement to disposal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Manage the purchasing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control, and disposal of obsolete stock and equipment.
  • Equipment Coordination: Receive, handle, and prepare items for shipment, and coordinate equipment distribution.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order material from internal and external sources, and purchase supplies.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Deliver supplies and provide services to operational units, and manage incoming and outgoing equipment within Canada and overseas.
  • Recordkeeping and Reporting: Perform recordkeeping, stocktaking, and inventory control, and maintain accounting and financial records.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain relevant technical documentation, and provide life cycle material management of ISTAR Command & Control equipment.
Qualifications
  • Education: A College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a relevant technical field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and equipment coordination.
  • Certifications: A valid Secret Level 2 PSPC Clearance is required, and previous experience using DRMIS (Defence Resource Management Information System) is a strong asset.
Additional Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required, with the ability to evaluate and provide solutions to deficiencies in technical failure reports and unsatisfactory condition reports.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, such as SAP, and experience working on enterprise resource planning systems is required.
