Job Description

**Job Title:** Life Cycle Material Manager Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Life Cycle Material Manager Technician to join our team at ADGA Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance on the lifecycle management of equipment, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and direct the repair, modification, and overhaul of equipment with contractors.
  • Coordinate the delivery of modification kits and parts to implement field modification programs.
  • Provide technical input in the preparation of substantiating documentation for Statements of Work, requests for proposals, and technical data packages.
  • Approve and monitor design change requests, waivers, and deviations.
  • Provide technical assistance in the review of specifications, drawings, and reports.
  • Monitor and review Unsatisfactory Condition Reports and Technical Failure Reports.
  • Review and approve proposed changes to technical orders, including description and maintenance instructions, operating instructions, and overhaul instructions.
  • Provide technical assistance in the identification and screening of applicable and accessory spares and provisioning documents.
  • Originate and carry on written technical correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Participate in site visits to field units.
  • Advise clients and contractors on system problems and provide technical expertise on resolutions.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 3 years of experience in Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Secret Level 2 security clearance with Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
  • College diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a relevant technical field, or demonstrated qualification level 6B (QL6B/QL6A) in a relevant technical field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a minimum of 6 of the following assessment criteria:
    • Experience using a recognized process framework or LCMM Handbook.
    • Experience working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for equipment cataloguing.
    • Experience working on ERP for maintaining and developing checklists.
    • Experience working on ERP for coordinating equipment distribution.
    • Evaluating and providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports.
    • Analyzing Statements of Operational Requirements.
    • Reviewing Technical Data Packages.
    • Planning and executing equipment demilitarization and disposal.
  • 3+ years of experience in the preparation of technical documents, including requirements, specifications, checklists, bulletins, reports, and proposals.
  • Previous experience working in the Air Force as an LCMM will be considered a strong asset.
