Position Overview: Director of People & Culture

We are in search of a seasoned and proactive leader to work in close partnership with our executive team on pivotal People strategies. In the role of Director of People & Culture, you will enhance the organization's success through effective talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, and performance enhancement initiatives.

Location Options:

  • Vancouver, BC, CA
  • Las Vegas, NV, US
  • Chicago, IL, US

Compensation Package:

$110,000 - $140,000 + Benefits + 20% bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategic programs and initiatives
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes
  • Serve as a liaison between the People & Culture department and executive leadership
  • Facilitate performance development and conduct engagement surveys
  • Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Leverage People management platforms such as ADP, iCIMS, and Culture Amp

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in People and Culture, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment laws in the US and Canada
  • Preferred experience in the hospitality sector
  • Certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SC, PHR/SPHR, or CHRP-HRPA are desirable
