About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our insurance distribution strategy and partnerships. As the Head of Insurance and Distribution, you will be responsible for developing and executing distribution strategies across iA Wealth and PPI.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, advisor/client needs, and competitive landscape to formulate effective distribution strategies.
  2. Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align distribution efforts with business goals.

Channel Optimization:

  1. Channel Oversight: Oversee distribution channels, including brokers, agents, and digital platforms.
  2. Performance Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate channel performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.

Insurance Expertise Integration:

  1. Insurance Subject Matter Expertise: Bring broad insurance subject matter expertise to the management of iA Wealth's insurance line of business.
  2. Strategic Direction: Develop and implement the strategic direction of the insurance business line, integrating insurance into the overall wealth management strategy of the firm.

National Strategy and Advisor Engagement:

  1. National Strategy Development: Drive the national strategy and framework for insurance distribution and advisor engagement.
  2. Advisor Enablement: Collaborate with senior management and specialists to ensure advisors are equipped to position insurance effectively for their clients.
  3. Holistic Wealth Management: Facilitate a holistic wealth management experience by driving the HNW insurance offering at iA Wealth.

Sales Enablement and Training:

  1. Revenue Growth: Work directly with advisors to maximize revenue growth in insurance sales.
  2. Advisor Training: Develop advisor training initiatives to enhance their insurance expertise.

Promotion and Visibility:

  1. Promotion of Sales: Collaborate with Investia and iA Private Wealth (iAPW) to promote sales and the insurance consultant program.
  2. Visibility and Promotion: Be visible in promoting the insurance offering among our advisor base through regional meetings, road shows, and national conferences.

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  2. Life Insurance License: Life Insurance License (LLQP) is required.
  3. Certified Financial Planner: Certified financial planner (CFP) is an asset.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 8 Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in distribution, sales, or strategic partnerships within the financial services sector.
