  • Handle overdue accounts with firm yet professional collection practices.
  • Invoice customers as per the required schedule.
  • Process monthly progress billings for architectural millwork jobs.
  • Track work orders on progress billing spreadsheets.
  • Actively call customers to ensure payments are received on time.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices by sending monthly statements and escalating collection efforts as needed.
  • Monitor and record any holdbacks received, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate and lead bi-weekly AR meetings to review account statuses, collection strategies, and payment trends.
  • Process bank deposits and manage cash flow projections.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer account records.
  • Assist with monthly and year-end financial closing activities.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Self-starter, organized, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and hands-on.
  • Assertive and diplomatic personality with the ability to drive results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with Accounting/ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
