UX Researcher Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a skilled UX Researcher to join their Digital Design team. As a UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences they create through each of their digital products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify research opportunities to inform product strategy and design decisions.
  • Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to conduct generative and evaluative research.
  • Represent the users' voice and needs by engaging with them on various platforms and channels.
  • Design and facilitate internal workshops to gather information about new work or areas of focus.
  • Mentor product designers in the research craft to democratize and enable research in the different pillars.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in research, preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Experience working in highly-regulated industries, such as financial institutions, healthcare, or pharma.
  • Technical understanding of design research theory and design research tools.
  • Working knowledge of various design research methodologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • BA/BS degree or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MA/MS degree or certification.
  • Appreciation for design thinking.
  • Experience working within a large organization and an agile environment.
  • Experience contributing to digital product launches.
