Experience Visionary

We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to join our team as an Experience Visionary. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating an Experience Vision for The Globe, and applying order and automation to our UX research operations and practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and organize our UX research operations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Map the complete user journey across all touchpoints to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct discovery work to deeply understand our readers' personal contexts and uncover unmet needs that will inform our strategy to build an exceptional reader experience
  • Develop and communicate an Experience Vision that will be fundamental to The Globe's product strategy
  • Mentor our product design team to level up their research skills and ensure they are equipped to deliver user-centered design solutions
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong background in user-centered design and research methodologies
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Experience working with data and metrics to inform design decisions
  • Strong desire to be innovative within the news, content publishing, and media industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with research tools such as Airtable, Miro, Google suite, or Microsoft
