Lead UX Researcher

The Globe and Mail is a leading media brand in Canada, renowned for its high-quality journalism and innovative storytelling. We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and organize UX research operations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct discovery work to understand user needs and preferences
  • Develop an Experience Vision that aligns with The Globe's product strategy
  • Communicate research findings to stakeholders and teams
  • Mentor product design teams to enhance research skills
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong focus on user-centered design
  • Proven ability to communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences
  • Experience with research tools such as Airtable, Miro, and Google Suite
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and design thinking
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
