Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Employment Status: Temporary Full-Time (35 hours/week)

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Head of Programs Physical Rehabilitation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' abilities and challenges in daily activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, serving a diverse range of patients across various settings.
  • Travel to different communities as required to provide essential services.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a terminal university degree in occupational therapy.
  • Be a registered member of the Quebec Professional Order of Occupational Therapists.
  • Demonstrate experience in evaluating and treating adults and seniors, including expertise in home adaptation and technical assistance.
  • Fluency in English and French is essential; knowledge of Inuktitut is highly valued.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, and self-confidence.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $961.10 and $1763.65 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Benefits:

  • Isolation Premium: $203.66/week
  • High Cost of Living Premium: $74.17/week
  • Retention Premium: $114.99/week or more

Travel and accommodation provisions are available for employees working over 50 kilometers from their assigned location.
