Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating the functional abilities of our users, developing and implementing treatment plans, and promoting optimal autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the functional abilities of users and develop treatment plans to promote optimal autonomy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in clinical teaching and education activities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of computer tools and software
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Membership in the Ordre professionnel des ergothérapeutes du Québec
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset
