Position Title: Occupational Therapist - Kuujjuaq

Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (35 hours/week)

Reporting To: Head of Programs Physical Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing clients' abilities and challenges in performing daily tasks
  • Creating and executing tailored intervention strategies
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to serve a varied clientele across different environments
  • Traveling to various communities as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a terminal degree in occupational therapy
  • Registered member of the Quebec Professional Order of Occupational Therapists
  • Experience in assessing and treating adults and seniors, including home modifications and technical support
  • Bilingual in English and French; knowledge of Inuktitut is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and independence
  • Strong organizational capabilities, leadership qualities, and self-assurance
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation: Minimum $961.10/week - Maximum $1763.65/week

Additional Benefits:

  • Isolation Premium: $203.66/week
  • High Cost of Living Premium: $74.17/week
  • Retention Premium: $114.99/week or more

Travel and accommodation arrangements are provided for employees stationed more than 50 kilometers from their designated location.
