Position Title: Occupational Therapist - Kuujjuaq
Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (35 hours/week)
Reporting To: Head of Programs Physical Rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing clients' abilities and challenges in performing daily tasks
- Creating and executing tailored intervention strategies
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to serve a varied clientele across different environments
- Traveling to various communities as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a terminal degree in occupational therapy
- Registered member of the Quebec Professional Order of Occupational Therapists
- Experience in assessing and treating adults and seniors, including home modifications and technical support
- Bilingual in English and French; knowledge of Inuktitut is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and independence
- Strong organizational capabilities, leadership qualities, and self-assurance
- Valid driver's license
Compensation: Minimum $961.10/week - Maximum $1763.65/week
Additional Benefits:
- Isolation Premium: $203.66/week
- High Cost of Living Premium: $74.17/week
- Retention Premium: $114.99/week or more
Travel and accommodation arrangements are provided for employees stationed more than 50 kilometers from their designated location.
