Position: Occupational Therapist - Kuujjuaq

Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (35 hours/week)

Reporting To: Head of Programs for Physical Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing clients' abilities and challenges in performing daily tasks
  • Creating and executing tailored intervention strategies
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to support a varied clientele
  • Traveling to various communities as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a terminal degree in occupational therapy
  • Registered member of the Quebec Professional Order of Occupational Therapists
  • Experience in assessing and treating adults and seniors, including home modifications and assistive technology
  • Bilingual in English and French; knowledge of Inuktitut is advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and independence
  • Strong organizational abilities, leadership qualities, and self-assurance
  • Valid driver's license is required

Compensation: Weekly salary ranging from $961.10 to $1763.65

Additional Benefits:

  • Isolation Premium: $203.66/week
  • High Cost of Living Premium: $74.17/week
  • Retention Premium: $114.99/week or more

Travel and accommodation support is available for employees working beyond 50 kilometers from their designated location.
