As a Solar Engineering Manager, Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in our Solar Canada division:

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficiency of solar initiatives with the goal of optimizing energy output and financial returns.
  • Responsible for assessing potential losses due to varying environmental conditions.
  • Monitor data discrepancies, analyze project performance trends, and proactively address potential challenges.
  • Understand client needs and propose value-driven engineering solutions that enhance functionality, cost-effectiveness, and timelines.
  • Negotiate performance guarantees, capacity testing agreements, and contractual obligations through detailed calculations and data interpretation.
  • Prepare and present performance evaluation results and periodic reports to clients and their independent engineers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and SCADA providers while interpreting various technical specifications.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the renewable energy sector and stay informed about ongoing innovations and challenges.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities associated with solar projects.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in construction, with a focus on leadership and mentorship.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the solar industry, particularly in the operation and performance of solar projects.
  • Proficient in monitoring and forecasting project resources and staffing needs.
  • Skilled in identifying and managing risks and opportunities within solar initiatives.
  • Adept at establishing and nurturing effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience in leading a team of 4-6 professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, with a strong ability to embrace new technologies.
