We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Analyst Student to join our team at PCL Construction. As a key member of our Solar District, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review SCADA data to analyze and interpret performance on solar projects
  • Report irregularities in data and monitor trends in project performance to commissioning and field staff
  • Establish new systems and processes to improve analytics tools and identify opportunities for growth
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and SCADA suppliers to interpret technical documentation
  • Support estimating with preconstruction efforts, including design consultation and project planning
  • Assist with designing, reviewing, and validating solar facility layouts relative to RFP documents
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the renewables market and identify opportunities for innovation
Requirements
  • A strong desire to work in a design function
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in various computer software programs, including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)
