Job Overview

PCL Solar Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to play a key role in the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Performance Tracking: Assist in monitoring and reporting on project performance metrics, including cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
  • Construction Coordination: Coordinate construction activities, identify potential risks, and resolve technical issues to ensure project success.
  • Quantity Takeoffs and Surveys: Manage quantity takeoffs, surveys, and contract progress reporting to ensure accurate project documentation.
  • Trade Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Change Order Management: Handle change order processes and document control to ensure project compliance.
  • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning: Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project closeout activities to ensure project completion.
  • Safety and Quality Leadership: Provide leadership in safety and quality programs to ensure a safe and high-quality work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, safety, and building codes; problem-solving skills; ability to create schedules and administer contracts; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.
