The work setting is characterized by a fast-paced atmosphere, often requiring the ability to work under pressure. The environment can be noisy, and the role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with periods of extended standing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards.
- Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Compile and submit operational reports.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
This position involves supervising a team of 1 to 10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
