Strategic Account Manager Opportunity

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to join their team in Burlington. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will focus on sales and business development activities for existing and new customers across a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively engage with customers through a consultative selling approach
  • Effectively communicate with key decision makers to assess leads and develop strong business relationships
  • Offer solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Prepare pricing agreements for customers
  • Perform sales margin analysis
  • Collaborate with the inside sales and customer service teams to manage customer issues
  • Represent the company at trade shows or conferences
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong math and technical competencies, with the ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Customer-focused sales approach and proven ability to build effective business relationships
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team setting
  • This position requires up to 50% travel across Canada and USA
