Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Elby Professional Recruitment Inc. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for sales and business development activities for existing and new customers across an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with new and existing customers through a consultative selling approach
  • Effectively communicate with key decision makers to assess leads and develop strong business relationships
  • Offer effective and efficient solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Prepare pricing agreements for customers
  • Perform sales margin analysis
  • Work collaboratively with the inside sales and customer service teams to effectively manage customer issues
  • Represent the company in trade shows or conferences

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • This position requires strong math and technical competencies, the ability to read and interpret technical documents is strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate for this position will possess a customer-focused sales approach and proven ability to build effective business relationships across any level within an organization
  • Candidates must have exceptional communication and time management skills as well as the ability to work well independently or in a team setting
  • This position is based in Burlington and requires up to 50% travel across Canada and USA
