Job Title: Personal Support Worker – Nursing Care

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Personal Support Worker to join our team at Wellness Home Healthcare Services.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, focusing on nursing care and daily living activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including taking vital signs and maintaining inventory of supplies
  • Transport patients between care facilities and assist with mobility
  • Respond to call signals to determine patients' needs and provide support
Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and physical stamina. The role involves standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Client focus, dependability, and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week.
