About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Services Aide to join our team at Sardion Care Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring patients receive nutritious and delicious meals.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient rooms are tidy and organized.
  • Transport patients to and from appointments, activities, and other destinations, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Respond to patient call signals, providing timely and compassionate care.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
