About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Transitions Care, Inc. as a Nursing Care Assistant in a home care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a home care environment, including assisting with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide companionship and social interaction.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Take patients' vital signs, serve meal trays, and assist with feeding and bathing.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Will train.
Work Environment

This is a temporary, on-the-road job with a variable schedule of 30-40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
