Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Support Services Lead to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management to a team of support services staff, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of facilities services and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of support services staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality facilities services and support.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve facilities services and support, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with regional and Shared Health teams to ensure effective coordination and delivery of facilities services and support.
  • Provide oversight and management of maintenance, tradespeople, power engineers, security, housekeeping, and other support services staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of facilities services and support.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure a culture of excellence and customer service.
Requirements
  • 5 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in facilities management.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on customer service and quality improvement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to improve facilities services and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with regional and Shared Health teams.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related discipline, such as facilities management or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Facilities management certification or diploma.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Project management or change management certification.
