Job Title: Cisco Voice Engineer (Hybrid)

Location: Montreal, QC

Overview:

As a Cisco Voice Engineer, you will be engaged in various voice-related projects while also providing advanced troubleshooting and management of video server systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 3 support for Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express.
  • Contribute to the upgrade process of these systems, including planning, execution, and testing.
  • Participate in the strategic planning for future upgrades to the latest versions of the systems.
  • Perform Level 3 troubleshooting for voice systems.
  • Collaborate with Cisco vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to the systems.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco video servers, including VCS and Expressway.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Level 3 engineer with the specified technologies.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Call Manager, particularly versions 12 and above.
  • Familiarity with Unity and UCCx.
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle Client and ECB is advantageous.
  • Experience with Cisco Video servers (VCS and Expressway) and endpoints.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor.
  • Experience integrating PSTN telephone systems with TEAMS.
  • Familiarity with Vitec IPTV solutions.
