The Role

Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating franchise opportunities across Eastern Canada for our Canadian brands. You will negotiate deal terms and Property Improvement Plans, execute hotel franchise agreements, manage relationships, and participate in industry events. Additionally, you will be responsible for submitting forecasts and general reporting. We are looking for candidates based in Ontario who are conveniently located near an airport, as this position requires frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify franchise opportunities.
  • Attend networking and industry events.
  • Negotiate terms and finalize contracts.
  • Manage franchisee relationships.
  • Conduct forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with development team members on special projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of significant transactions, debt and equity activities, and hospitality trends in the US and Canada.

Qualifications for Success

  • Extensive experience in sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships.
  • Competence in evaluating pro-forma and feasibility studies for new construction.
  • Knowledge of new construction development.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (both oral and written).
  • Experience in franchise sales organizations is preferred.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business or relationship development.
  • Demonstrated success in sales by consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily for lead generation and customer relationship management.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written) is essential.
  • Candidates should be based in Ontario and ideally located near an airport due to travel requirements.
