About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Specialist to join our team at PG Ventures Inc. as a Pastry Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development and Execution

Develop and implement recipes for a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, ensuring consistency and quality.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels, including ordering and requisitioning materials, equipment, and supplies, to maintain optimal stock levels.

Quality Control

Inspect and ensure that all products meet established standards for quality, taste, and presentation.

Team Leadership

Lead and motivate a team of bakers and production staff to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Workplace Safety

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients and equipment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a bakery or pastry production environment, with a focus on operations management.

Language

Fluency in English.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
