About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team at Risingstar Wholesale Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bakery, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of skilled bakers and pastry chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to capitalize on these findings.
  • Product Development: Work with our product development team to create new and innovative products that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and quality control.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and support, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage the bakery's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the bakery is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including food safety and labor laws.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as baking and pastry arts.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
