About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Operations Specialist to join our team at PG Ventures Inc. as a Pastry Production Manager. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of taste, texture, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recipe Development and Execution: Develop and implement new recipes, as well as refine existing ones, to ensure consistency and quality in our baked goods.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of bakers and production staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to produce high-quality products.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that products meet our standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
