Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for promoting wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Collect detailed medical histories and perform thorough examinations to diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions.
  • Health Promotion: Assist patients in developing healthy lifestyle choices and managing chronic conditions.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic tools to inform treatment plans.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient evaluations and care.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient needs.
  • Vaccination: Administer immunizations to prevent diseases.
  • Patient Advocacy: Serve as a strong advocate for patients' health and well-being.
  • Supervision: Oversee and train medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Emergency Care: Provide immediate care in urgent situations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in medicine or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant medical practice.
  • Certifications: Must hold College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
Work Environment

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The physician will be expected to work 40 to 50 hours per week.
