Electrical Appliance Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at 4393017 Nova Scotia Limited. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining electrical appliances and components.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and Maintenance: Conduct voltage, resistance, and other tests using electrical test equipment to diagnose faults and repair electrical appliances and components.
- Estimating and Planning: Prepare written estimates of repair costs and plan service routes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts and use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requiring strong organizational and time management skills.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical appliance repair and maintenance.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
