Key Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include:

  • Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems

  • Discussing work details with supervisors
  • Inspecting and testing mechanical units to identify faults
  • Conducting road tests on motor vehicles
  • Estimating parts and labor costs for maintenance and repairs
  • Advising customers on work performed and future repair needs
  • Completing reports to document problems and work completed
Certifications and Licenses

Preferred certifications include:

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
