About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator, Volunteer Engagement to support the delivery of exceptional experiences for our volunteers. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Volunteer Engagement team, ensuring the smooth operation of volunteer programs and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Volunteer Engagement team, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing communications.
  • Support the development and implementation of volunteer programs and events, including recruitment strategies and volunteer engagement lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal staff to ensure consistent and elevated customer experiences for volunteers.
  • Manage volunteer data and information, including contact details, roles, and participation.
  • Coordinate and deliver elements of the volunteer recognition strategy and org-wide volunteer appreciation efforts.
  • Use CRM and Volunteer Management System (VMS) to track volunteer opportunities and engagement.
  • Ensure volunteers exist in database systems and keep all volunteer information and opportunities up to date.
  • Handle customer communications and responses through the volunteer engagement inbox.
  • Support Cabinet engagement through administrative functions, including managing meeting calendars and coordinating events.
  • Support org-wide volunteer data management and collection practices.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of related experience providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required for travel within Edmonton and surrounding area.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends depending on events and meetings.
