Caseworker (6 month contract) - Healthcare Liaison

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Caseworker to join our team at CB Canada. As a Caseworker, you will play a critical role in managing assigned projects and cases, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless communication with patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects and cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies, addressing funding and access issues, compliance programs, and other concerns
  • Administer and adhere to case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, compliance, and adverse event reporting
  • Implement pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other allied health professionals
  • Document all activities in program-specific databases and provide feedback on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relationships
  • Participate in ongoing refresher training and specialized training courses for specific products or programs as deemed necessary by the manager
  • Communicate effectively with the manager, pod, and program-trained colleagues regarding case management during foreseen absences
  • Report all adverse events to assigned units or departments

Requirements

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, typically obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service
  • Ability to multitask, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
