About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Vanrose Medical Centre and Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or drugstore setting.
  • Work Setting: Our pharmacy is a fast-paced environment where you will be working closely with our team to provide excellent patient care.
  • Tasks:
    • Bill third-party insurers for prescriptions and medications.
    • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as required.
    • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate who is accurate, dependable, organized, and a team player. You will be working in a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek.
