Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that expired or damaged items are removed.
  • Prescription Processing: Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions, including verifying patient information, checking for potential interactions, and preparing medications for dispensing.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, attention to detail, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and team player.
