About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Charolais IDA Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Management: Verify the accuracy of prescription information and ensure that all prescriptions are filled correctly.
  • Client Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products, ordering supplies as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned, including preparation and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and other relevant information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our pharmacists and other staff members to ensure the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
