Auberge du Pommier: A Premier Dining Experience

A modern French fine dining restaurant, Auberge du Pommier offers an exceptional guest experience. Our Hosts play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity and ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Communicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and Managers to maintain a smooth operation.
  • Escort guests to their tables, engage them in conversation, and seat them accordingly.
  • Accurately take reservations and update guest status in Open Table.
  • Develop a briefing sheet before each shift to inform colleagues of upcoming events and special requests.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the restaurant's trade area, including location, surroundings, and nearby attractions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure all table numbers are known and maintain awareness of server assignments.
  • Fulfill special request forms for birthdays, anniversaries, and other notable events.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and systems.

Requirements:

  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, with restaurant experience considered an asset.
