We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Host to join our team at Aera. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Experience: You will be responsible for greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, and ensuring that they have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Communication: You will be the primary point of contact for guests and will be responsible for communicating with servers, bartenders, and managers to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
- Reservations: You will be responsible for taking reservations over the phone and in person, ensuring that all guests are accurately seated and that the restaurant is running smoothly.
- Front of House Operations: You will be responsible for maintaining the front of house area, including the host stand, entrance, and surrounding areas, to ensure that they are clean, stocked, and free from clutter.
- Teamwork: You will work closely with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and that the restaurant is running smoothly.
- Experience: Proven prior experience in a similar position for at least 6 months.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Availability: Full availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
