KBL Environmental is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Oversee the coordination of crews and equipment, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient project execution.
- Provide leadership in safety, ensuring compliance with company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure project scope is met, and customer commitments are exceeded.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans to drive excellence in project execution.
- Collaborate with the people and culture team to develop a talent pipeline for upcoming field employment opportunities.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in construction projects, with a post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operation (excavator, dozer, rock trucks) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with technical proficiency in company systems.
- Ability to read, review, and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, as workload requires.
