Regional Sales Manager - Eastern Region

Leviton Lighting Canada, a business unit of Leviton Manufacturing, is seeking a talented individual to join our team of sales, lighting, and manufacturing specialists. As a Regional Sales Manager - Eastern Region, you will be responsible for leading a team of industry-leading lighting agents and driving growth by expanding our market reach and channels served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to close and win lighting projects that include integrated controls and technology
  • Drive deployment strategies with agents to maximize market opportunities
  • Lead in the development of the "Go to market" strategies in the Eastern region that include Design build contractors, Service contractors, End users, and National accounts development
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of the overall sales business plan
  • Maintain and Update project management information in Salesforce (CRM)
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
  • Present new products, lighting solutions to customers, end-users, specifiers, engineers
  • Plan, monitor, and report all relevant sales activities, results, and issues with internal stakeholders
  • Quickly respond to requests from agents and customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on projects and provide all relevant information to internal support teams
  • Direct and assist with the coordination of company sales functions
  • Represent the company at various sales events, training sessions, or events to promote the company, as required
  • Promote positive relations with employees, partners, vendors, and distributors
  • Communicate and work in partnership with other department heads and senior management at Leviton to solve problems, develop, and maintain objectives, and to ensure company-wide consistency

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' sales experience within the lighting industry - with emphasis on LED lighting sales and proven experience in specialty and custom lighting solutions
  • Good working knowledge of lighting controls and LED lighting
  • Excellent English and French verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate and make presentations
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and respect
  • Ability to be strategic and organized in achieving goals and targets
  • Computer proficiency and strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive business information
  • Valid driver's license
