About the Role

Gigamon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in Eastern Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and capturing sales opportunities that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow existing accounts.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the region.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans and tactics.
  4. Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
  5. Develop and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and on-site customer visits.
  6. Represent the sales team on cross-functional teams and interface with R&D, production, and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
  7. Research and analyze market trends, competition, and product mix to identify new sales opportunities.
  8. Provide innovative problem-solving approaches to enhance organizational capabilities and identify new sales opportunities.
  9. Assist in providing training to lower-level sales staff.

Requirements

  1. 10+ years of direct selling experience in the Networking or Network Security space.
  2. Track record of success as a top performer, with a strong consultative and solution-selling skillset.
  3. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  4. Reside in the region and have a strong network of relationships with local major accounts and channel partners.
  5. Experience with sales force automation tools and disciplined forecasting.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Business, CIS, or related field preferred.
