We are seeking our next Internal Communications Lead. Could it be you?

Reporting to the Director of Transformation and Human Resources, the Internal Communications Lead will spearhead the creation and implementation of Accoravillage's internal communications strategy across various channels. This role will serve as a strategic partner across all departments, planning and executing initiatives that align with key communication objectives while ensuring a unified voice in all communications.

This position requires a hybrid work model, with a significant portion of in-office collaboration.

  • Exceptional writing skills – You can distill complex documents into clear, concise messages tailored for diverse audiences. Your writing is consistent, precise, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong analytical skills – You possess a curious mindset, capable of anticipating project outcomes and preparing accordingly. You can guide communication projects to successful conclusions by asking insightful questions to identify needs and obstacles.
  • Accountability – You take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through to ensure results. If improvements are needed, you proactively seek solutions.
  • Change agent – You are eager to assist wherever communication needs arise, valuing effective communication and enjoying collaboration with various stakeholders to bring messages to life.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Transformation and HR to implement a cohesive internal communications plan that supports corporate objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner across departments to facilitate effective internal communication.
  • Develop strategies and content for key communication touchpoints, creating tools and templates for use across teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to execute communication plans.
  • Craft communications for internal audiences, including organizational announcements, presentations, and speeches.
  • Identify and utilize new communication channels and tools to enhance overall communication efforts.

Are YOU our next Internal Communications Lead? You are if you possess:

  • A degree or diploma in communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Over 8 years of progressive experience in a communications role.
  • Expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading various materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in drafting communication plans and supporting documents.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, project management, and execution.
  • Experience in creating content calendars and managing internal communication platforms.
  • Comfort in engaging with senior leaders in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and articulate them clearly.
  • Excellent judgment and adaptability to changing work environments.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple requests and meeting tight deadlines.
