Job Title: Plumber/Gas Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team at Horizon North. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.

Responsibilities:

* Complete tasks related to the planning, laying out of plumbing components of construction, repair, and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions, and wood structures and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.
* Read blueprints and specifications.
* Tend to the maintenance and preventative maintenance programs including cleaning for all plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, and air and vacuum related equipment.
* Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
* Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
* Accountable and responsible for the quality of all plumbing work performed on manufactured product to ensure it meets all company and/or contract standards with recommendations for improvements where needed.

Requirements:

* Must be a registered Journeyman or Apprentice.
* Must have valid drivers license.
* Current Driver abstract required
* 5 years plumbing work experience in construction settings.
* Working and practical knowledge of the applications of plumbing techniques and methods.
* Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade.
* Ability to draw appropriate sketches to communicate details to team members, and others.
* Perform heavy manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 45 lbs.
