About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Specialist to join our Residential team at Northern Property REIT in Grande Prairie, AB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our properties remain in top marketable condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Install flooring, window assemblies, and other finishes to meet our high standards.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and renovations, including replacing fixtures and pipes.
  • Replace switches, light fixtures, and sockets to ensure safe and efficient lighting.
  • Patch drywall, paint walls and trim, and perform other carpentry tasks to maintain our properties' appearance.
  • Load and unload materials, remove debris, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties related to property maintenance and renovation as assigned.

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in home and building renovations.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with good time management and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with renovation tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in changing weather conditions.
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a clean driving record.
