About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at CAN CONTRACTORS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the operations team, including reviewing and evaluating new administrative procedures, delegating work to office support staff, and establishing work priorities.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Communication: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, newcomers, and refugees.
  • Work Environment: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
