Bookkeeper/office Manager

- Have a minimum 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Have a strong attention to detail.
- Have experience with spreadsheets (MS Excel)
- Be personable and have some experience in customer service.
This position is Monday - Friday 8:30-4:30 with up to a 1 hour lunch break.
**Bookkeeping duties to include but not limited to**:
- Accounts Receivable - Prepare & send customer invoices, receive & process customer payments(via cheque, credit card, and online banking), send monthly customer statements, follow up on past due accounts.
- Accounts Payable
- Receive vendor invoices & match to packing slip, create purchase invoices in Sage, process payments (via Cheques, credit card, or online banking).
- Prepare bank deposits & deposit.
- Bi-weekly payroll processing with various remittances.
- Prepare and process all government remittances_. Monthly - Source Deductions & Corporate taxes. Quarterly - WSIB & HST._
- Monthly reconciliations for all bank, credit card, cash, and intercompany accounts.
- Work closely with accountants - year end prep etc.
- Month end journal entries.
- Preparing financial statements, monthly and as requested by management.
**Administration duties to include but not limited to**:
- Answering phones
- Submitting warranty forms for paid customer accounts.
- Handling walk in customers, typically requesting estimates, or paying invoices.
- Scanning & printing various documents.
- Keeping all documents up to date (Employee sign-in sheets, deduction sheets, employee files, warranty forms, etc.)
- Document filing (electronic & paper)
- Tidying office
- Office supply orders
- Other tasks as requested by management
**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
