Emergency Medical Call Taker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Call Taker to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing critical support to the public in emergency medical situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service while remaining calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Take a leadership role in building relationships with team members and callers.
  • Actively seek win-win solutions and maintain professionalism in cases of conflict.
  • Valid certificates in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C are required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in a call center is an asset.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30WPM.
