About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team at Wintrax Logistics Inc. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for building predictive models, analyzing complex data sets, and providing insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Analytics Solutions
    • Design and develop data mapping methods to answer specific business questions
    • Develop queries and logic to generate reports and visualizations
    • Use ensemble modeling to combine multiple algorithms to obtain better predictive performance
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Confer with clients to identify business requirements and develop solutions
    • Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business needs
  • Analyze and Interpret Complex Data
    • Extract information from unstructured data sets
    • Discover trends and patterns within large amounts of information
    • Synthesize technical information through creation of data visualizations
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends
    • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and machine learning
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts
    • Proficiency in SQL and MS Office
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
